Was pulling into the parking lot of this closed down school near where my girlfriend lives and ran into a guy wearing knee pads packing up his van. I was really excited to see someone else out detecting and he was really excited to watch me run my equinox 800. I think his name was Fred. We had a really good time bullshitting and he told me about these forums. Nice to meet you all and I look forward to posting my finds here. Happy hunting.
