Went out with Badabing 1916 merc.,1911 barber,1893 indian, silver Canadian i think no date,Gorham spoon pat date of 1851 with coin stamped on bottom,large button,and a silver and gold thimble no marking but unreadable initials

That is a Canadian Dime alright. Don't know exactly, but I think those were issued from 1911 to 1935. One of our Canadian friends, will know for sure. Your button looks familiar too. Looks to me like you had a real good day.
