Tuesday,I went to my Dr. for a check-up on my L-shoulder,since I had surgery on it 6/17,and therapy 3 times a week due to an injury at my old job.I asked him about a paper he had that Workmans Comp told me about,that lists my restrictions so's I can look for another job;and could
I get a copy of it???He looked at me,frowned,and said"THEY TOLD YOU THAT,DID THEY??WELL,THATS NOT THE WAY ITS PLAYING OUT"!!!-I said "ok";then he said "you will not do ANY WORK-PERIOD-UNTIL I SAY SO"........Well,regarding someone at comp,I guess its like that Minute Maid Juice commercial "UH-OH!!LOOKS LIKE SOMEBODY FORGOT TO FOOF TODAY"!!!Anyway:as I was leavin his office;his last words were"Until you hear from me or this office,NO WORK"!!! Drs orders..........

Well, wg, listen to God, your wife and the doctor! I believe they probably know best! Sounds like you are anxious to get back to work.....better take it easy and not hurt your shoulder again or you may not be able to use it at all! :sad: God Bless! Betty

Speaking of workmen's comp...I injured my knee about a week and a half ago and still the company has not provided me with the report form to file for WC. They ignore me or they make excuses and yesterday I found out that personnel no longer have any forms for WC....someone took them all. Not sure how this is all going to work out now the doc told me to get an MRI on the knee and physical therapy 3 times a week. Will see shortly if I have to go to the State to file a complaint and maybe lose the job trying to get medical treatment.

Take it easy Brother...I'm trying to do the same.

Prayers for you also, Bro Pete, that both you and wgsteve will be okay in the long run and all will be well with the WC and your job! The owner probably isn't paying or filing for Workmen's Comp coverage....don't know if he has enough workers or not to be insured or if it makes any difference.....but that is probably what is going on! He had better have insurance to cover those renting hotel rooms and using the phycilities because someone might get badly hurt and then have to sue for medical coverage as well as you might have to do! :sad: God Bless!
