Went to the big lake and found gold!....

Been a rough couple weeks with the passing of my mom and all. My wife said let's go to Lake Michigan on Sunday for some R & R. Well to me that means swinging in the water! :detecting:
Picked up a bunch of clad, some cars, 3 pair of sun glasses, and a nice gold wedding band. Now later I found another but till I get the pics in my daughters camera figured out that will wait for another post.

Well I had so much fun that a friend and I went again today. Same deal, clad, a car, tent spikes ( I think 2 more fell out of my pouch somewhere ) a GIANT lag bolt, and a nice Tungsten Carbide wedding band.

Lisa

yep, that firetruck is nice...especially the hood ornament...lol good finds Mike, congrats!!

The Fisher CZ-21. I also have a CZ-20. I had to send my other 20 in for a repair and they automatically upgrade it to a 21. After being down during water season a couple years ago, I watched the classifieds and picked up the spare 20 so if I ever go down again I will have a spare. I commented above of the pro.

Awesome finds Mike!

Great finds Mike. I hope to get out later this week to detect a sandbar in an inland lake.
How do people usually water detect? Do they try to detect imaginary rows or just wander around?

yep,the cz-20's are awesome use to find deep stuff at the beach :pulltab:ha,ha,ha.man that dude was heavy:heh:last time i heard fisher was out of parts for the cz-20 and they were charging $200 just to open it:confused: so,i sold it mucho fast it was a cream puff shape.

I always hip mount mine so I just have a shaft and coil. If you were the original owner they still have the lifetime warranty on it. No charge when I sent mine in and they upgraded it to a 21.
