well at least a dermatologist, Had a spot on my for-head for years that wouldn't heal. He said it is probably skin cancer, if it is they can do Mohs surgery on it which is 99% effective, It's a laser surgery. They took two biopsies and froze twenty-one places on my face and arms. They use liquid nitrogen and a long cotton swab to do the freezing treatment. It will definitely light up your life when they do spots on your face. Put me in a mood. I'm in a much better mood now. I'm not worried the LORD is in charge. Don't go buying sympathy cards yet God isn't done with me either. Well you might want to give my wife sympathy for putting up with me all these years! Kinda like Uncle Willy's wife with him.

I've been that liquid nitrogen route before. Chilly ain't it? Think the temp on it is about 400 and some degrees below zero.Hope you come out okay bud and they wipe it out.

Moehs surgery is no fun!! I had a carcinoma (sp) about the size of a pencil eraser on my nose, right between my eyebrows. They cut a chunk about the size of a quarter out and then the plastic surgeon did a "flap" from my forehead and brought it down to cover the removed chunk. I've got a beauty of a scar all across my nose and right up my forehead. Weird thing is, I can touch the spot on my nose and feel it on my forehead.

Good thing he didn't graft it from somewhere else. Many years ago my Ma had a small mole on her cheek that was determined to be melenoma. It had spread all over underneath and when they got through with her hey had removed half her face and scalp on that side and folded part of her scalp back down over her face so that she had hair growing on her face for a long time.

When we were kid's mom and dad got into camping. We would go on vacation, the first week of July to Lake Erie. dad's plant would shut down. Going fishing for 10 hours at a time and swiming at the beach. I can't tell you how many times would burn, blister and peel. By the time I was a teen-ager I would wear long-sleeved shirts and large brimmed hats. Obviously the damage had been done. Should be an open and shut fix. Hope they don't transplant anything far from my head. Thanks for the concern.
