Took my little one out to the park today and did some detecting while we were out. heres my finds. there were 2 other detectorists out in the same park and the grounds keeper also detects there. plus he said there were 2 other guys who detect the park everyday that would be going out later. so its hunted alot. also found out that during the gold rush.. there was a china town sitting where the park is now,

also found in the same area as the dollars was a machine smooched penny that was from lego land here in cali. its an amusement park dedicated to legos.

If your finding Sacs, your doing VERY good....keep it up...:bounty: :detecting:
Think I am going to the County Park (Onondaga Lake Park) today...

i call finding those pure luck. they just happened to be in the same pocket spill with the rest of the change. but thanx anyways

BTW, That Yale padlock registered as a Half Dollar...I dig em knowing that most of the time it is a large can, or some other large, heavy metal object, and not really a 50 cent piece...
