Wet sand Exp II setup

A

Guest
Going to Daytona Beach mid-March and had a question about setting up my EXP II for wet sand. Last fall in Virginia Beach whenever I would get down near the wet sand it would pop and crackle so much that I stayed away from it and went back to the dry. I think I was in the factory presets with maybe a little bump on sensitivity. keep reading that you can go from wet to dry(no adjustments)with this thing but haven't found that to be the case with mine. <img src="/metal/html/sad.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":sad"> Any help on settings to try would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the replies. I will definetely try these my next time out. This should help me get down in those cuts everyone is always talking about without being annoyed by a lot of chatter. I didn't do too bad last time at Virginia Beach in April. Found this 10k ring up in the dry sand. Found just before the Sandcastle competition. It actually had all 44 diamond chips still in it although a few were loose and fell out when I put it in the ultrasound cleaner. Took to jeweler and he restored it. Towards the end of our trip pulled a WWJD sterling ring out of the dry sand also.
