What a couple of weekends!

It's been a while since I've posted any finds, but I felt I need to post these shots. Did three hunts over the last two weekends in Upstate NY on Lake Champlain on a property located adjacent to the house I grew up in. All of these were found in a 100 yd radius from an early 19th century inn (now a rubble of rocks). I've never had such an eclectic mix - from an 1808 large cent, to a 1946 Walking Liberty Half, to a 1919 dog tag. The half dollar and two Washington quarters were found within a foot of each other on a rocky shore. Enjoy the pictures!

Good for you. There's nothing as exciting as working an old site and pulling out some really great finds. :clapping:

Fantastic hunts! What a great assortment of coins. It would be fun to know what they all are and their dates, if possible. Well done! HH jim tn

Wow - super hunt and finds! Congratulations!

Mmm-mmmm-mmmm good! You're making my mouth water, Andrew! You really covered all the bases, 1808=, and an impressive array of silver and other goodies. Looks like a ring, too? Congratulations and thanks for posting them!

Yup, a ring. It is thin, relatively small, and brass-like, but it could have been gilted/plated at one time. BTW, and I don't know why, but I think it's my favorite find out of the lot! What's it worth?...who cares!
