What a Cut!

After my wife and I finished brunch we decided to meet up with friends and take a stoll along the beach because it was such a Bermudaful day. The weather has been consistently rotten since before Christmas so this was a much needed break from rain, cold and gales. We met up with our friends at Horseshoe Bay (where I hunted earlier this morning) and wandered along the beach trail from Horseshoe Bay.

Through Chaplin Bay.

And finally to Warwick Long Bay.

Look at the HUGE CUT in the beach at Warwick Long Bay.

This beach is usually unhuntable, with a heavy layer of soft sand that makes getting to the deep stuff impossible. Look at the exposed rocks in the above pic, this is the first time I have seen them exposed - guess where I'll be hunting tomorrow morning at the low tide.
My buddy Matt noticed a huge Parrot Fish feeding on the coral in Warwick Long Bay, I would put it at close to 4 feet in length.

A Truly Bermudaful Day,

BDA:cool:

I did enough looting this morning, quality time with my Princess and some friends is just as important. Tomorrow is another day and I'll give it my undivided attention then.

It is amazing how age and experience slow down life. Good luck tomorrow and I do not think you will need it.

We call Parrot Fish in Hawaii Uhu. They are very good eating, wrapped in tin foil and stuffed with mayonaise, lup chong (type of sausage), shoyu, chili peper water, garlic, green onion, and brown sugar. Bake it for 40 minutes and be ready for some mean grinds.:smoke:

Aloha,Ike

Those are beautiful Eric... Love the parrotfish!!

I would be at that cut in a second too.
