What a day with the F-75 S.E. (Civil War stuff!)

I've gone and done it now!!! I asked for and recieved permission this morning to hunt the yard of a small vacant house in my little southern town. I was hoping to find a silver dime, maybe a few wheat cents. That's all it would've taken to please me. I never thought I'd have stumbled onto this stuff!!!!!!!!!
My first Civil War buttons! My first Civil War bullets and balls!!! I won't sleep a wink tonite!!!!!! Two of the buttons where messed up when I found them. The damage looks old. But two of the buttons (including the Infantry Officer button) are in good shape. I don't know what that thing is in the thrid pic. Any ideas?
Square nails cover almost every inch of ground!! I was using 2F tones. Discrimination at 4. Sensitivity at 88. DE mode.

& very good settings for hunting in the nails......
Don't ya just love to hear that high tone "chirp" amid those iron grunts?
For your first Civil War buttons, that Infantry is a very good one....congrats.

Thanks Bill. I learned about the 2F tone in an area trashed with nails from watching your videos, before deciding to purchase the F75.

Hopefully First Texas takes note of comments like that, as I like to think my videos and posts have sold them quite a few units.........

Looks to me to be part of a flint lock hammer?? Any how nice finds...hh rick in mi.

Congrats on a great hunt and an awesome eagle button. Finding relics is a lot of fun. CCH
