What a day!!

What a Day!! My friend Ray and I went out Sunday for about 3 hrs. It's been hot here in TX and 3 hrs was enough for both of us. We found two vacant lots across from each other. We hit the one lot and found very little. We went to the second lot and 5 minutes into the lot Ray found a silver ring with a large stone in it. Some woman described it as Costume,,,hey but silver none the less. I was 15 feet from him when he started Yelling 'I got Bling Bling" holding up the ring. I laughed and went back to hunting. I was 15 to 20 feet from him and a minute later I hit a target at 36. I dug it out and it was a huge silver and gold ring with a yellow topaz or citrone stone. I started yelling I got Bling Too!!! We had a good day and a Good time! It has happened several times where one of us will find something neat and then the other finds the same type item. Tokens, Coins, and BLING!

nice sounding finds. I know what you mean about hunting with a buddy and finding comparable finds. I hunt a lot with my brother and he and I do that enough that it gets a bit spooky! I keep telling he to find a gold coin, so I can find one too! You might try that same technique with Ray. And I hope it works better for you than it has with my brother! HH Randy
