Hit one of my favorite places with Kevin. Was NOT disappointed today. Found my first ring less than 10 minutes in the water. That is the widest one. Then I dug a pull tab and waved it out of the hole. I NEVER leave those critters so I searched for it. Got the signal and waved my hand and the other gold ring appeared! The tab went further than I thought and I also found it. The bracelet was a WOW surprise. Got a mid tone waved my hand and it was all in a pile. Loved that. The earring was the last gold I found. It looks to be 10K but I didn't include it or weigh it cause its not marked.

super finds as usual!! wish you were here in florida , i want to get into scuba and i would love to hunt with a pro like you.
 
WoW...I see why its your favorite place...WTG...Thats some nice gold!!....I pass different gold chains under my coil...they would have to be pretty fresh drops to get a sound or bunched...Great Job ..Good Luck next lake!!!
 
Holy crap!! I'm gonna have to stop reading your posts...starting to get real depressing:drool: That's more gold in one day then I found all last year:yikes: Congratulations!!

Oh yeah! You are getting your payback for giving advice and tips to everyone, congratulations! I hope you keep on hitting it big time. Thanks for the posts, it's keeping me stoked until my regs come back next week. (still can't post pics! Grrrr) best of luck scuba detector :)
 
I love helping people. Thats why I tried being a cop and thats why I fix computers. I also love this hobby and don't mind telling tips and helping others ESPECIALLY in the water where SAFETY is TOP priority. Water is unforgiving of mistakes and its very easy to make one. As I was diving yesterday, I came across a prop washout. I was in 4' of water and it dropped to at least 6'. For waders that can be deadly, Especially if you can not see the bottom.

We are all out there to make money, enjoy ourselfs and STAY ALIVE. I have had a pontoon boat go diretly over me, A sail boat keel hit my tank and roll me over and not one but TWO boaters think my float is loose and try to pull me in. NO matter how safe you THINK you are there are NOT TOO BRIGHT of people that have NO idea what your doing out there OR what a dive flag means. Becoming prop bait is NOT my idea of having fun.

AND if anyone has the illusion that I just found gold and coins, Here is the picture of yesterdays TRASH. Probably over 100 bottletops and well over 50 tabs. I already threw away the glass.

If ANY of you toss back trash, waders or divers, I would LOVE to know why! Scooping is hard to begin with and SO is wasting air on digging a target you have already dug before. Slows you down AND reduces your hunting time and your hunting finds, BUT ALL up to you. ANOTHER GREAT reason too keep your trash is if your spot get hammered by other detectorists, they MIGHT get discouraged if they find NO targets for a long period of time. LOL NOT me and probably NOT most the seasoned people. You WILL find rings out in the middle of nowhereland all by their lonesome.

Wow, that is a super hunt, congrats! And too true about tossing trash back, Monday I saw holes with bottlecaps and tin cans and nails etc left beside them. I'd love to talk to the hunter that did it..
 
Okay... Your grounded!!! No more detecting in my private lake!!! LOL! I'm gonna have to start charging you one peice of gold per lake usage. On a serious note... nice haul Roberto! That place just keeps giving and giving with no shortage of depositors.

LOL Greg, you have one HUGE backyard!!! Complete with islands and channels. Now if only you could charge a dollar for every boat that used it!! Then you wouldn't have to detect!

CJ, the water there is less than 4' deep. I just love to lay on the bottom and fan instead of scoop!!

The partial gold chain I found yestrerday was in a hole. For sure a scooper that got part of it. I also found bottle tops and old tabs on top by the holes. Some people care only for themselves. They have to leave junk on top for others to step on. I have NO use for detectorists that do that and will refuse to hunt with anyone that does.
