Took found Shells to Army base to turn in, Police at gate turn me around and say they cant take them at the base but to drive careful because the one is high explosive. I go to work and come home and call EOD team and cant get a live person to talk to. I call my police dispatcher for a number for EOD and she says she will call me back. Im retired pd. Now the detective calls me and lets me know the on duty chief has been notified and they are going to call the chief in the city I live in and notify the state police bomb squad. Finally I get a call from Va Beach police bomb squad and they drive to my house to pick up the ammo. What a bunch of horse poop. You try to do the right thing and it gets crazy, so much for the Army base helping out, they shoot them but dont want them back. Im just glad Robrcer didnt break another scoop digging them.
