Picked this up today. I know its a Bounty Hunter, but was wondering if some one could tell me more. (model, how old it may be, ect) It works, but needs a battery cover, and the screen that goes around the dis

play. Also would like to find an owners manual to learn how to use it better. Thanks, Larry

Abnackmac, thanks for the reply. I kinda figured it was pre 2000, but wasn't sure. Cant believe it still works. Would be fun to get it back up to tip-top shape. Any idea if parts are still available? Thanks again, Larry

I would say quick draw as well. I have some 90's magazines, and it is in an advertisement.

Some people prefer the older versions more than the modern ones, so you might have a keeper. I guess you could make a new front out of sheet styrene, that's the material used in model railroading for crafting buildings and such. Found online or in hobby shops. Or plexiglass or whatever protects those exposed electrical contacts and the display's face.

I very much doubt there are any replacement parts available from the BH factory, but it still may not hurt to ask. Too many years ago and new corporate owners since then. Old inventory was probably dumped long ago. You could keep a eye out for a non-working or parts unit selling for cheap.

Sounds good, thanks to all that posted. I couldn't believe it worked, but it does! It put a grin on my face when i started hearing the different tones.Will keep my eyes open for one to cannibalize. Thanks again, Larry
