What I found for real finds this last weekend.

We knew you would have something to post as you never fail us with good things. WTG and keep them coming. Not sure of the removal of their detector but a person can sure unleash a barrage of words to try and shame them. I believe it is against the law to dig and leave holes in any City, County or State Park for legal reason. Time for the law enforcement to get involved. Our club had to go before a board of directors to get a place open and then post signs of enforcement and monitor the place for illegal digging. We will call Police if need be but it has worked so far. Dig it, remove it, and fill it.

Hi, Neat token there......how old you figure that one is? Approx. how many tokens have you found over the years?

Also good job on applying the heat to that moron who's leaving not only the holes, but the junk as well. I hope the guy gets caught and fined by the police. I just don't understand the mentality of people like that!

Nice IH and buffalos. What's the story with that button? Also see my post to the subthread below.....posted there by mistake.....Erik

I think after so many times, the Police Officers themselves would just tell anyone they seen that detecting in the Park or where ever the site is, is Prohibited and they have to move on or else and I really don't need to see that happen also. Good Suggestion but I think the people out there doing things like leave open holes and leave junk laying next to their holes will never change since they just don't care due to that they are selfish and for the most part ignorant. Thanks JB and Good Luck and HH.

So this time I will not put your Barber Dime to shame since I wasn't lucky enough to find one this weekend. It was kinda weird digging that many old Nickels in one day but I will take as many as I can get. Hope you are able to get out and try finding some nice finds soon and Good Luck and HH.

The Button says FOR GENTLEMEN with 3 stars on the front and the back is rusted since it had a steel back. Thought I would just throw it in. Thanks though Erik and Good Luck and HH.

All they are in it is for the hopes of finding something valuable and that is about it. Very low IQ I bet. Probably from under a rock somewhere. I will try and find out the time frame that Token was in use since Rick (ND) has a North Dakota Token Book. It should be listed and it might have the date also when the person was in business. I hope so. I bet I have dug close to 100 Tokens since fall of 2001. I started to trade them off recently for $5 Gold Pieces in AU Condition. In fact, this last Token just netted me another Gold Coin and also 4 Walkers too boot. Thanks for the Post and Good Luck and HH.

I thought GF ment "great find" dummy me!

Hi James. No, I wasn't able to try those spots at our hunt. There were just to many people there and the place we gathered at wasn't that close to where I wanted to hunt. I will give it another try later on in the fall. Thanks for asking.........:) By the way, I got a call tonight from a fellow who lives close to me. We met on this forum and he use to belong to our club. We are going to try and get together next Monday and he thinks he might have a place we can go where I might be able to find my first seated. Wouldn't that be great!! HH.

Nice going James. Looks like that trade token is aluminum. Nice arm cup by the way...........:) And for that jerk or jerks who tore up that park........I hope for your sake that James doesn't find you tearing up those parks, but then again maybe it's jerks like that that need a wakeup call!! You certainly didn't offend me James. HH.

I hope to see you post a Seated yet this year and I hope that on Monday that your friend takes you to his spot and you finally get one. Who knows, you might just walk away with more than one. Good Luck and HH Buddy!

The Token is Aluminum and is in really nice shape for what kind of metal it is made from. Usually Aluminum will be ate up a bit from the ground but this one was in sandier soil so that is probably why it is in such great shape. And for the jerks out there. Actually, that was really the 3rd time this year that I ran across someone that said there were holes uncovered and junk thrown around and it really ticks me off when I go out and try and enjoy my hobby and then I run into people that give you some heat because of some other jerks stupidity. Just makes it hard to talk to that person and explain that you are not that person and what you are doing is a lot different than what the other jerks had done. Thanks again Eddie and Good Luck and HH.
