What is the weight difference between

I'm trying to choose a coil for my 705 I have the 7.5khz 9" concentric now. I was wanting to buy the 18.75 9" concentric or the 10" 18.75 DD

Does anyone know the weight of each coil ??? I would like to know the difference in the two.

Thanks Ron L

I don't know the weight. But I have the 9 inch 18.75 and it is the same weight as the stock 9inch coil. It likes the deep civil war bullets.

Stock 9" Coil Weighs 20 1/8 ounces....10.5 DD Coil Weighs 20 3/4 ounces thats with them attached to the lower rods..hope that helps

My 9-inch concentric at 7.5 kHz (with coil cover) weighs in at 15.4 ounces.

My 9-inch concentric at 3 kHz (with coil cover) weighs in at 17.6 ounces.

My 10.5 inch Minelab DD 7.5kHz coil is 20.4 ounces, including the coil cover.

Sorry, I'm on the road and didn't bring my HF coil to weigh it. But the difference between it and the LF or MF of the same design would be no more than a couple ounces, either way. HH Randy

Hey Randy, since your on the road and you have those coils with you I hope your finding something good.
