What modes have you found to be best and what soil conditions

I did notice that multi is deeper than single frequency as the manual says.
And M2 is deeper than M1
I am a bit surprised though that it is sometimes considerable over using single frequency but admit
I don’t use 4khz. I have very little to no mineralization

I just played around with the 1.11 update.
On a coin under an old tree I've left for testing.
In park mode.
4,10 and 15 hit best. The depth scale was full.
I believe that's about ten inches.
M1and M2 still hitting but not as hard.
M3 sounded soft.
Pinpoint was tight.
Hitting a solid 46 in all frequencies except M3.
M3 was a solid 47.
On the other side of the tree. Where there are three other deep targets giving a solid 46. M1,2 and three hit good. But when I went to 4,10 and 15.
Suddenly I'm hitting a dozen or so Clean hard hitting targets. So many I'm going to have to put the 6" coil on to sort them out. Anxious to see what the Manticore will do there.
Not a real hunt. Just a quick tryout. To cold still.
