As time allows, skim through the book of Leviticus. (See, for instance, Leviticus 12, 16, 23. What thoughts come to your mind as you read all these rules and regulations and rituals? Why would many of these be all but impossible in New Testament times to follow?

It is convenient for us to classify Old Testament laws into various categories: (1) moral law, (2) ceremonial law, (3) civil law, (4) statutes and judgments, and (5) health laws.

This classification is in part artificial. In actuality, some of these categories are interrelated, and there is considerable overlap. The ancients did not see them as separate and distinct.

The moral law is summed up by the Ten Commandments (Exod. 20:1

The health laws should still be for today, for the world to be more safe from diseases! They have leaned so far to the left by protecting those who are committing sexual sin or by drugs, infected needles, that the drs and medical system cannot announce or reveal those who would infect others because of HIV and AIDS! The true protection is to live holy like God is holy and by doing so, most will escape these diseases and keep them by spreading because of sinfulness and ungodliness! Our Gov't leaders do not have Common Sense and make laws that hurt the victims and those who are innocent by bad blood in the blood transfusions and dirty needles!

Not all church pastors, leaders and the congregation are true believers and, therefore, if we don't study and obey the Biblical Scriptures as we should when we love God in Jesus' name and serve Him, faithfully, then we shall be blind and led astray.....When the blind lead the blind they all fall in the ditch....Satan's dark pit of sorrow and destruction of the bodies and the souls unless believing in the One, True God, Whose name is Jesus and our Savior of the sinful world!

But when in the true church of God with righteous and godly leaders than we are to encourage and love one another and not cause discontent and destruction among our brothers and sisters in Christ! Some people argue where the piano should set and who should be in charge of what? So much jealousy and hurtfulness that should not be! Jesus says to love one another as I have loved you...His Apostles and followers of God's truth!
