Whatever happened to Mike (Ohio)? Did he die?

He went by a name something like Mike (Ohio) and was finding lots of really great stuff with his explorer. I think he found a dime worth thousands of dollars around Illinois a few years back. He was posting lots here but suddenly quit posting.

Others have asked what happened to him and some said he might have died.

Is this the case?

If he was finding good stuff and then all of a sudden he stops posting then it would be a safe bet to say " he may have snuffed it" .

He may be dead. You know there are a few ways to say dead like (eg) kicked the bucket. Popped his clogs. Snuffed it. Checked out. the list goes on. Sorry if this slang offends you sir.. No harm meant i was just stating a fact that he is probably DEAD.

Yikes!!! "If someone quits posting here he is probably dead"? Couldn't there be countless reasons that someone might stop posting here? I would hate to think that being here puts us at life's absolute summit. From here there is nowhere to go and you must die!?
I would like to think that there is at least a reasonable possibility that Mike took up flying lessons, or bought a boat, or went back to college, or started coaching kids baseball, or fell in love, or etc. etc. etc. and simply doesn't have the time right now to devote to posting here.
