I wonder if a certain large detector comany has bought out the pulse devil technology??? This may explain the lag in release of the detector to the public. Plus it would explain some information released on a certain radio show about some "new detector technology" I was listening to not long ago. The plot thickens.

Strong name PULSE DEVIL is supposed to push the sale of the detector, but it is not enough ... Here's an example that you should not always trust the advertisements or the mighty names http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18572

Yes it is a very cool name. But when this detector comes on the market it won't need to rely on a cool name to sell machines. After all, we are talking about the first pulse induction detector with real discrimination.

I hope it will happen as you say, but ... At this link http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showthread.php?p=71871 posting #5 "willy" says the following : "Dave Emery's Pulse devil is, as far as I can tell, a PI/IB hybrid. He's talking about 'maybe' having it for sale around Christmas. ..Willy." It was 11-17-2007 and so far there is nothing... And here's one from Poland boasts that "something" made posting #3 http://www.geotech1.com/forums/showthread.php?p=143515#post143515

been almost ready..just a few more changes, for seven years and counting...don't wait...for one in your christmas stocking...

No disrespect to mr Emery...it is just a fact.

To Quote Dave 11-19-2011

" I have been working on my detectors for many years. I have to work for a living and cannot devote all of my time to working on my detectors.

To add to this I have had some very serious health problems over the years which have substantially slowed and delayed my efforts for many months at a time.

On the plus side, I have no investors. 100% of the development costs of my detectors have been paid for by myself. I have also never taken a single penny for any future order or orders.

As to the status of my detectors, they are technically ready for production but due to my health issues I have not been in a position to put in the required amount of time to ready them for sale. This I assure you will change very soon as I have someone to manage the production issues. "

"dozens of people saw demonstrations of the Pulse Devil at several major European detector rallies. A number of others actually used a Pulse Devil that I loaned to them at the rallies. "

That's free advertising, and possible investors, both of which he said are lacking.

Sorry, but LEM2 isn't "something" detector. This is the real hybrid PI and VLF systems which works simultaneously and are complementary to one another . Thanks to this is possible the large depth detection and very good iron discrimination. The detector works in the unique system of the static discrimination (this is similarly as TR but without the influence of ground). The search head does not contain inside any wires. There is made PCB technology. Therefore is exceptionally stable mechanically and thermically. The detector works simultaneously on two frequencies 1.25kHz and 5.5kHz. It has inside 2 processors. Is intended espetially to hard sapper works. It uses him many specialists. I have produced him for over 2 years for espetially order. Research works were over 5 years. LEM2 is probably first serial produced hybrid detector and there is nothing in common with Pulse Devil.
