whats the most profitable form of prospecting?

it seems that the dredgers are getting the most gold.
but what about the drywashers? are they finding more than electronic prospectors?

I have dredged and worked drywasher both, since I started detecting, I have gotten more gold, and bigger gold than I ever did dredging or drywashing. And one summer dredging I pulled 20 oz's out of a hole on the Merced river, But that was alot of work, moving rocks and winching rocks, throwing rocks, and cleaning bedrock. Labor versus gold, Detecting hands down gives you the most. Grubstake

In the past 50+ years I've made $10k in a hour and spent $10k and worked months and made $1k.Ya gotta love it or leave it.Cool weather detecting rules but over 100 degrees and I'm butt up in that blessed water. TOO many rules and regs,constantly changing,and environuts,treehuggers,and history buffs killing everything everywhere FAST!!!Tons a au 2 u 2-John
