sent my musketeer in for a reapair it would not work whith the headphones in no sound works whithout headphones spent 60.00 to get a new jack put in got it back still does not work it took one full month to get not fixed now I am truly getting discouraged i plan on selling it as is in november for a big loss anyone intrested let me know i dont have one more dime to try to get it fixed I have the 8" and 10" coil will be posting end of october Gunnar MN

Just a thought, but have you tried another set of headphones?(ones with both stereo and mono) maybe its not the machine. Quite often headphones fail with all the tugging they get

i have notest with my Sovereign if i accidentally knock the stereo switch on the earphones on to mono the machine goes all silent till you switch it back.

I will have to try another set of headphones , funny thing is when i plug the killer bees into my sterio they work just fine but not on the detector I,m just going to be like bret favre little time left things look bad ,,, just have to throw a long shot i got one month left to hunt things look badd i will just hunt whith no phones maybe i will make that big find in the nick of time befor the game is over Gunnar MN

Minelabs use mono jacks not stereo jacks. It could be a problem with the stereo/mono switch.
