Whats wrong with some people?

Aaron

Well-known member
I've been trying to sell my Whites BH ID 300, but all I'm getting is low ball offers. I realize that there are people who are doing this and making money by reselling the machines or they are snapping them up for other dealers. Anyway, Im selling the machine because Im going through a divorce with 2 children 4 & 6. My attorney fees are obviously very expensive and I'm fighting to keep my girls.
Im a very taken aback to say the least by the below mentioned forum member, to make such a cutting remark about the pain and suffering my family is experiencing, not mention the emotional turmoil my girls are feeling. Im sorry to complain. I'm gonna go mow the lawn and maybe do some detecting with my Explorer and try forget about this.
Have a good weekend everyone.
Aaron

Thou i feel for your situation.... might i ask why you brought this to the Explorer forum? We get enough drama. Hope you get what you want.... just remember you dont have to take the low ball offers.

Divorce has become so common and prevalent here in America in this modern age that some people have, unfortunately, become desensitized to the pain it causes. Sadly, some have a cavalier or flippant attitude toward the ending of a relationship that was meant to last a lifetime. My buddy returned home from a 15 month tour of duty in Iraq. He discovered his wife cheated on him and let her lover move into their house while he was gone. And his kids were still living there too. There's nothing funny about that! I wish you well during this trying time. And I hope you get a good offer for your Whites detector. Peace

The mans most likely stressed out........... Looking for some friendly feedback... Just one more thing aggravating him right now.

Wish you well Aaron........... I know right now it seems like the whole world is bearing down on you... Hang in there man..!!!

Sorry Aaron ... didnt mean to be rude. Trust me im not insensitive to you situation.... having went thru a real nasty divorce then loosing a wife to MS. Once again... sorry if i was rude.

Words can't really convey the proper thoughts when a loss happens like that..

Very sorry for your loss my friend.

You going out of your way to apologize to Aaron shows you are a class person,,,but I already knew that:angel:

Hang in there buddy. Going through divorce is very tough...but It WILL get better... and you have many friends here should you need to vent.

Glad you made the post helps to voice these things sometimes and is a Whole Bunch healthier than putting a gun to your head... or hers.

Sometimes people forget that not everyone wants the divorce they are going through. I agree with Bryce. Time takes time.

God Bless
Jeff

No, not at all Dew. I understand, and I am extremely sorry to hear for the loss of your loved ones. I cant imagine going through that twice.
I would like to thank all of you for all your kind remarks and thoughts.
Take care,
Aaron

There's no problem Dew its all good. I'm a new member to this forum, bought a Expler SE Pro a couple of months ago because I couldn't belive all the silver you guys are finding. Also out all the forums I frequent this one seems to have the nicest people and moderator. So I decided to get in on the action. Metal Detecting is my theropy, no need for zanex or zoloft anymore, oh the pain is still there and far from over don't get me wrong. I found a silver rosey first time out in a lot of junk where I've hunted many many times even w the big stock coil I could here that hi flute tone. Found another silver rosey also. But to tell you the truth this is the hardest machine I've ever had to learn and the most different. I have Andys book and it is helping but the machine still feels foreign to me. I have 8 and 5 inch SunRay coils on the way after reading Bryces post and hoping the smaller coils will help.
I noticed Bryce has a contest for a Brand new Mine lab digger right now. I also have a brand new one (still in the bag) I would gladly ship to anyone who is a regarded regular from this forum who has a lot of experience with the Explorer SE Pro, FREE if they could call me and give me some hands on tips and secrets to really start being confident with this machine.
Please pm me if interested.
Thanks again guys and happy hunting!
Aaron

There are a lot of excellent hunters.... if you have Andys book most of those people are right here and available for your questions. Have you checked your area for detecting clubs. There is nothing better than hunting with someone from YOUR area. I even carry a splitter with me where the new guy can plug in and hear what i hear. The conditions in the north, south, east and west may vary a lot.... but thats what makes this such a great detector. It will take you a year or so before it clicks. Right out of the box thou the Explores will impress you. Start out using the smartscreen and dont try finding reasons to NOT dig. You really need to dig a lot of targets to know what you are looking for. My rule..... never sell a machine until its paid for its self. By then its been about a year and you know if its working for you and your style of hunting. Dont swing the explore like a fast recovery machine... or like you are taking it for a walk. Slow down and push it along... its not about how much property you can cover, but what you find. Youd be amazed what you can find in a 10 X 10 square in an old park. There i NO...i mean NO better detector at finding deep silver than the explorers.

Thanks Dew, I will finish the book and keep working with the Explorer, I start asking more questions on the forum.
