What's your deepest settings? Trying to figure this out

This is my third run with the deus.I keep buying them,get frustrated and end up selling them..But I know it's a good coin machine cause I've found a lot with it..But I keep running basic 1 cause I'm just not sure if my setting are good or not.So,I'm in Pennsylvania,if that makes any difference in soil conditions.
I have the remote and it's 4.0.
I'm looking for coins mostly in old homes and old fields.Any help is appreciated.Id like to get as deep as I can,without going at a snails pace.Although I do go slow anyway.

try the deep program seems to be just that but check out the settings and tweak as needed I think

sens 93 , tx 3, reactivity 2, disc -2.5 to -1.5, 7kh,notch nothing, full tones, iron vol 0 that should do it . That's a fast deep program make sure ground balance is close because that will affect depth too. btw if its too sparky cut the tx to 2 but where I'm at I can get away with 3.

I suggest you get the book by Andy Sabisch. He has several programs for the Deus and that is what I use most of the time. I suggest both of his 8 KHz ans 12 KHz coin programs. He also has a deep program you could try.I hunt pretty much where you do and I live in northern Delaware so I suspect that our soil conditions are similar. The Deus is a great machine and will perform well when you get to know it.

btw in my soil which everyones is different those settings will hit 10 silver dime and 12 silver halfs have videos of it doing so on my youtube channel . Soil will affect performance though.

One thing I do is run my sensitivity almost wide open. Rarely do I have to turn it down because of EMI or something else causing excessive chatter.

And one thing I do is run zero discrimination.

OK, in my mild soil, if I want to hunt deep I routinely run with:

Sensitivity = 95
TX = 3
Frequency = 8
Reactivity = 1
Silencer = 0

If you want to use some Discrimination, you won't loose depth if you stay below 8.
Manual GB at 4 points below actual.
Don't swing fast with Reactivity =1.

In mild ground you'll get depth, my soil GB's at the 80 mark, and rarely drops below half way on the mineral scale, typically i get 6" on small coins, maybe 8"-9" on larger coins at best, a low reactivity and slower sweep speed is needed.
Running tx3, max sensitivity or a high audio gain in my soil is a bit of a wasted effort.

Im new to run basic and play with settings I also switch between basic and all the other pre programs when I hit a good signal see how the different settings sound works well for me.

I am spoiled with my mild ground. That's sounds like nasty soil to hunt in. What part of the country are you in?
