Whatzit

Hi, Here is a whatzit I found a couple of years ago. When found, of course the hole in the bottom was full of dirt, and as I poked a small nail in there to clean the dirt out, the small tube came out. It only comes out as far as shown in the pics. On one side is "Made in Bavaria". I'm in a mining area (copper) so it may or may not have something to do with that. Any ideas. Nice forum - enjoy looking at everyones finds. HH Bill.
