[size=large]I would sit on my favorite bar stool in my favorite bar and in would come these ladies wearing bonnets and carrying tamborines.

Never would say a word unless spoken to. But here they were with their tamborines held out like church collection plates. Some of the guys complained to the manager/bouncer and he would say that they had just as much right to be in the bar as we did (truth told it was PRIVATE property and the management had the right to pick & choose clientele) but the bottom line was we, (young silly sailors) would choose to be courteous, maybe put a couple of bucks on the tambourine or choose to IGNORE them all together.

That was the choice that could be made over on the Views forum. But apparently there are some that are not as courteous as we young sailors were back in the 60's.

Ma Betty, Darlin, I would say this to you with love and respect. I saw your post on Friends & Finds. Don't shake your tambourine to hard kidd-o. There are good folks on Friends & Finds. There are good folks on the Views forum as well. But be advised, there is a "bouncer" on Friends & finds as well. A little more love. A little less doom.[/size]

Thank you Steve in Ind, for your input....I didn't know I have been posting anything on the Friends and Finds forum like I did on the Views, but if you will read all my posts those that didn't want me there were doing the attacking and I was defending Jesus and myself....I did get off on a personal track about the Virgin Mary there at the end and sure stepped on a lot of peoples' toes and made them extremely angry! Yes, as Christians, we are to be Peacemakers but we are also to occupy until Jesus returns and occupy means to spread the Good News of God like He did while on earth!

Maybe I did get very strong with my faith and knowledge, but the truth is the truth and I won't white-wash it! How can anyone say that the Virgin Mary is the Mother of God, when she was born way after God created everything there is! She is the mother of Jesus as a man and He is number two below God, His Heavenly Father, and gives all the glory to Him, just like we should! Jesus is God there is no doubt, but it all needs to be put in persepective, as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit....all are three in one accord but have seperate jobs to do! We are three in one in Christ and we are given jobs to do as witnesses for Him!

The Solid Rock upon which we stand is Jesus and He will crush into powder what is not of God Jehovah in His name! I love you in Christ and am sorry if I offended anyone but didn't so deliberately as I was trying to tell the truth of God's Holy Word! Am I human, YES, do I know everything, NO, as I'm still learning but sometimes my mind forgets things and I may not quite write what I want my words to say or mean! Religion is religious church laws but Christ in Christians is done by walking by faith in Him, following The Ten Commandments and His teachings and living not as the world lives!

God says we are a peculiar people and are in the world but not of it! I hope this explains where I am coming from and I too went to church unsaved, although I knew of Jesus but now I know Him as my own personal Savior and there is a difference through my experience of being baptized in the Holy Spirit, Who has given me power to endure and overcome all things! Living for Jesus and serving Him, I am and will be persecuted but I am not above my Master, as He was persecuted, too, and then crucified on the cross for all sinners that we might be saved and traveling on God's straight and narrow way! The Sword of Truth is sharp and cuts deeply!

Read in JUDE 20 to 25....But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost (Spirit) , Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life, And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.

I hope I will try to be more compassionate and loving with understanding where many are coming from and I hope they will understand where I am coming from....because it has been a long and difficult journey from my birth unto now!
