When!!

Dear Fisher detectors :

We are in 2017 so when we can see the new models and new generation of a metal detectors . Regards

There is a story and its true!
That a long time ago there were these super techy guys that worked for a company, they had all these GREAT ideas and the company LOVE all of them. But the company just kept putting most of the stuff in a file for a MUCH later dayand a couple of times a year the company would open the file and grab some little goody, add it to their current top of the line machine, give it a new name, get it out to some loyal field testers, to which these people got to keep all the equipment they tested and they got there hands on it first. Of course the reviews were almost always GREAT.
Well, now its back to the tech guys, they wasn't happy at all because they knew all of the stuff filed away would make the greatest detectors EVER! so they came up with a plan!! they would take their minds and start their on company, and that they did.
One of there first detectors out the door set a NEW detector standard, they got BIG league investors, but they needed something more! they needed a way better way to market and distribute these detectors, these TECH's saw a gold mind in another struggling detector company which already had a contract with a well known retailer. So, the techs bought the company with promises to their investors that this would guaranty them a highway into a retailer to MASS market their new HOT SHOT DETECTORS!! but being Tech's has its problems when trying to be business men, you know the saying,
There is only two kinds of people that work on watches, watch makers and fools!
These techs were not business minded at all.
They bought the company, but they failed to take into consideration that the contract with the retail distributor was about to expire and the retailer had no plans of renewing the contract!!!!!! this proved fatal and the company they started died a horrible death.
But, before their death there was another lesson that gets over looked! when they took every HIGH TECH IDEA THEY HAD and put into ONE top model unit they sort of cut their nose off to spite their faces, why? because they didn't save anything back for a newer greater model, so next year when the company they left marketed their NEWEST HOTTEST model all they could do was to expand their down line models. They had NOTHING filed away for a later upgrade and in this market that's not good.
In the market of detectors its proven that its very possible to release their technology faster than new discoveries. So, its bad for us to get our hopes up that a smart company is going to give us everything they have at to rapid of a pace. Yes, they have SUPER cool stuff filed away!
YES! they have really cool stuff on the drawing board, but they have to move at a pace with other companies in the same market! and moving ahead to fast is market suicide.

I wouldn't buy it if they did come out with a new machine,my F75ltd2 works great.Ive made up my mind I'm done hopping from machine to machine, and being a guinea pig for new releases..I ditched my F75ltd2 a few times to try out these over seas machines, just to be let down..Its been a learning experience for me to realize just how much I like the f75ltd2 and just how good it really is..That's my take anyhow.

heck. I'm on my second f70. Just bought a new NEL Thunder and it's practically a brand new machine making hunting fun again finding stuff I left in the ground with the stock coils.

If it's aint broke, don't fix it. But no one said you can't put a turbo charger on it and see if it lays down more rubber.

Business don't plan to fail. They fail to plan. Look at the electronics industry today. When you buy it and get it home, it is out of date.

I am on my first F70 and have used many other brands and this is my first Fisher machine and the F70 I bought used is one of the best detectors I have owned and more than likely be in my arsenal until I quit detecting . It is very accurate on TID and hits very hard on Silver . I guess the thing I enjoy the most is the ergonomics it is easy to swing and very light. Just wish it was waterproof and had a backlight , then it would be the perfect detector for my use . I will say the 6x3 coil is great but the NEL Sharpshooter coil is a beast on it in Trashy areas and hits Targets at depths of 8 inches with ease. I have noticed the amount of F75's for sell increasing and at very Low prices , so kinda gets you to thinking did fisher make a demon that just is to hard to control or is it just not any better than the F70. Not wanting to put down the F75 but it does make you wonder why folks are dumping them so cheap
