Been a very slow month here Elton (our pounded SF Bay Area parks have been very stingy!). I've been researching the location of a remote NorCal hotel that was built in 1848. I've found it's location (nothing there now) and am hoping to do a recon mission on it in the next week or so....I have high hopes for the place....1848 is early for California....hopefully there's a few seated's to be found

Things are slow here in mi.I did find a 1964 ford mustang!!!! [toy]LOL. And a .357 bullet abought 5 in. deep in the ground at a boat launch, kinda makes me wonder?

I found two .32 cal shell casing at a high school. Not with a F75 but a F2.
Small school in a small town, I wonder about that to.

Elton, it has been so hot here in south Ga. When not working 10 hr. days on a construction. project, 5 days a week I just wanna soak up some AC....looking forward to fall weather.....hh.....Dan
PS not complaining thank God I have a job in this economy.

I would be embarrassed to show what I have found, of course, I have only been out of my yard once and only for a couple of hours. I did find a live .22 long rifle round, a chunk of 'hammered' iron and a very heavy, ~1" diameter chunk of silvery metal (looks like a little silver meteorite).....I don't know what the material actually is, but, it seems too heavy for aluminum. I'll post a pic when (if) I ever find anything of consequence!

You want finds, I got finds from the other day.

ZAX, is the curved piece a spur? If not, do you know what it is?

Yes sir that is a Union spur. Dug the other day along with the bullets. I have a video up on youtube of me digging it out. All these finds were found in about 3 hours of digging.

Zax that is so cool, your grin says it all!!!!!!!!

Maybe it's the users and not the machines..and the areas.. and the weather (Hot) and maybe some just don't post.. LOL...

Appreciate it guys and Gals thanks..

Thanks for the confirmation and the video, Zax! I sure wish I lived in your area.......must be nice!

I just wish someone would send me one of those LTD's to try out. I am about to die to get my hands on one. I love the F75, but with the Boost mode I could pick up the super deep stuff. Most of my finds around my parts are anywhere from 5-8 inches usually. Everyonce in awhile I dig a 9-10 inch target. Thanks Elton and Roland.

I had the chance to get out for about 20 minutes tonight before it got really dark. I dug six targets.....3 were tabs, 1 was an old bottle cap and the other two were:

Both of them showed up as dimes, however, the real dime clocked in at a solid 96% confidence and the penny varied at about 78%.........so, I learned something, again. And, yes, that is a 'digger bite' in Roosevelt's neck.

Hey, these are my first two coins!!!! Got so excited, I almost had an organism.

Zax congrats on that spur, that's awesome!

It's interesting the place you're digging, it looks like it's pavement on the other side of the fence and your in woodchips. I guess there used to be CW camps in that park (or whatever it currently is)?

HH,
Brian

Cal Cobra. The area is next to an old home with a Manicured yard. The good stuff is probably on the other side of the fence. I don't have permission to hunt over there. The owners of the places bordering the place I do have permission to hunt are real particular about the grass. It had to be an old camp with the amouts of 3 ringers I have found. Probably found 40 drops in this small area. I have a display case on the way to put the bullets in. Should be real nice looking.
