Where do you get the new SEF coil???

Yes unfortunately we are out of stock, till sometime in September...sorry folks...but as soon as they come in you'll be the first to know.
(we have 15x12 coil for Whites and Explorers if that helps any)

Thanks,
Kellyco Chick

Same situation here, what do you think about the 15 x 12 might even get a little deeper than the one Bryce is using. Regards, Erik

Hey there!

I can totally understand how frustrating that may be - trust me, we're frustrated on our end too. The SEF manufacturers are based in Belgium, they're really amazing people but getting things from them can be difficult... either because of the amount of items we order and sell (they are popular!) or the distance the items have to come, or both probably. The only reason that date would change is if the manufacturer pushed it back. And btw: There's only one week left in August - It's almost September already!! AHHH!!! :yikes:

If you would like a refund, I completely understand and can get you taken care of. Otherwise we, too, are unfortunately at the mercy of the SEF gods. But really, they should be in any time now - we're expecting them any day. *fingers crossed*

As large a company as Kellyco is they should know something and be up front with us. I have been waiting (mine is on order) three weeks. I was told they were on there way. Hey Kellyco, just be truthful with us and we will be with you for life.

I completely agree with you. And we are being honest. I'm looking at our database right now that shows those coils were expected to arrive several weeks ago - we're telling you EXACTLY what we know and believe to be true. The manufacturer keeps pushing back the date and we literally are just biding our time until they get here.

Now, I did some looking into the way things get handled in this type of situation, and you SHOULD have gotten an email from our customer service department telling you that the receiving date had passed, but we are still aware that you're waiting and can offer you a refund if need be. I'm so sorry that you're waiting, and I feel your pain. These are the only people that make these coils and we are seriously at their mercy. If there is anything I can do, short of going to Belgium to pick 'em up, please let me know!

We've had the whole range of these SEF coils in the UK for the last 2-3 months or more 10x12 15x12 18x12 and I think theres even one bigger still. If you want my honest impression of them then stick to the Minelab SE pro coil. I have the 15 x12 and to be kind to it the thing might find you another inch of depth but its like carrying a sack of Potatoes round on the bottom of the stem to achieve it. I always use one of Docs Swingy thingys anyway on my Explorer full time but even so a few hours detecting with that new coil had me running for my X-terra 70 for a rest. Since the SE pro coil came out it hasnt been off my SE. The SEF has stayed in my detector closet. Maybe I should of taken up weightlifting to get back into shape but then hey detectings supposed to be an enjoyable hobby not a chore.

and should be here the 3rd or 4th of September from Bulgaria, as long as US customs does not hold the delivery up.

Its attached to this one i think.....
