It is not on the Minelab site. Or am I looking in the wrong place. That ought to be about par for me. Sort of like a day late and a $ short :look:   .

Minelab don't have one on the X70 yet. Did not see one on their web site. It is raining here so can't hunt with the X70 and DD coil. I went back and have been reading all the posts on the x70. I am up to page 10. Like all the rest I am impressed. The only thing I really dislike about this machine is the disappearing targets. Once you break that ground matrix you had better been paying attention to the depth meter on the machine. Might as well make up your mind to break out the pinpoint probe and start poking around in the dirt. I don't know why Minelab can't get it right and fix the disappearing targets thing. The EXPll pinpoint sucks too. Not as bad as the X70 but bad. Like some of the others I don't think Ralph at Sunray is going to be able to make a probe for this machine due to the different freqs of the coils. Maybe that won't make a difference. Has anyone asked Ralph at sunray if he is going to make one. I would buy one if he did.
So far in the 10 pages I have read on the machine and on the coils you guys that have taken the time to really hunt and test this machine out. You all have done a terrific job. Barnacle Bill, Digger, Joe, Monte, Danial, Rick (N.D.),Des Dunne,Steve H, Chuck, Tom, JBM, Mike B, mtdramike, John (TX), and some others, you guys have done great on the attention to detail explaining the X70. I have to thank you all. Well back to reading, Later Y'all Jerry aka Tinfoil

 Hey Minelab, the whole purpose of pinpoint is to not only tell if the target is still in the hole but to be able to tell if it is out of the hole and where the target is. It is a shame that you have to go to the Prospect mode just to find the target. Hey, at least there is that. I guess I have to be thankful of that. I quit using the pinpoint mode what use is it. Just use the prospect mode and your pinpoint probe and you will do fine. Well so far that is my only grip with the machine. It could be worse. Minelab did do a good job on the machine. Now if they just fix that Turing off problem for the guys and change the springs in the battery compartment to heavy duty ones like in every other detector that uses springs. Mine has not died yet but I am not going to mess with it . It is going back the day it happens. OK now back to reading. Later Jerry aka Tinfoil

I found that if I switch to the all-metal disc. mode the target comes back. It's really odd. I've had pulltabs and such give off a decent signal in the ground, only to disappear when dug up. Switching to AM brings back the strong signal with the proper ID. Go figure. ..Willy.
