Which as a backup?...1270, 1266 or 1236?

If money was not part of the equation, which would you choose as a reliable backup for relic hunting and why?...thanks, Ray in Waco, TX.

1266...why because its proved itself in relic hunting for over 10 years..1270 is lighter but it big control box knocks it out of balance, also like the dual disc. better along with its excellent balance with batteries under armcup..1236 is a midline unit and just can't compare to the other two mentioned...

No matter what you wish to back-up, I have used all 3 & like the 1270 best by far. The 1236 is nice too but the 1270 is deeper. I used a 1266x for years & was very happy when the 1270 came out with better iron disc & no more pops & clicks while keeping the excellent trigger switch. HH, Bill
