Which Coils Will Work with X-Terra 30?

I have been looking at a 10.5" Double-D Coil 7.5kHz. What other coils will work with X-Terra 30?

Any help would be helpful!

I used the X30 for 5 years, one coil, one machine.....Found everything with it. Eight years later, still works fine. Great MD!!!
Coil Frequency Options..... 1 (standard 7.5kHz)
Unless their is a black market coil not supported by ML, and FYI...This is not discussible on this forum,The 7.5kHz is it.......... Search the web

You actually have a choice of four coils. The one you have, a Minelab 10.5" DD, a 6" concentric, and the Coiltek 15" DD. All are 7.5kHz.
If we were talking about a 305, then you could use any of the five available 18.75kHz coils in addition to the MF coils.

IMO you are looking at the right coil... the 10.5" DD at 7.5khz is a GREAT coil... hasn't left my 705 since I put it on. If I could only have ONE coil, that would be the one for sure.

Sorry for my ignorance there. I did not know that the X30 had other coils available, but then I never looked for one since I got the 705. looking at the Kelly co coils I saw none that say X30, most say X305... If it says X-terra series does that mean all?

Just to run it all down...
XT-30 can run any authorized MF (7.5kHz) Xterra coils
XT-50 & XT-305 can use any authorized MF or HF (18.75kHz) Xterra coils
XT-70/705 & XT-505 can utilize any authorized Xterra coils in any of the three frequencies

I will start looking for a used Minelab 10.5" DD. PM me if you have one for sale or trade.

From the posts I am thinking the X-30 only operates with the 7.5kHz coils.
