which is better when searching out an area?all metal or nothing discriminated.i have been using nothing discriminated and finding stuff in four tone.am i wrong?emubob

All Metal misses nothing. You hear everything.
In Disc with nothing notched, the signal is still passing through the discrimination circuitry, as opposed to AM which is unfiltered beyond ground balance.
