Tomorrow I going to one of my old work out spots.
It's an old abandoned church site, dating back to the 1880's.
I have found Buffs, V nickles, wheats and an indian head or 2.
Like I mentioned earlier the place is getting pretty worked out, so keepers are getting few.
There are a few spots with iron that I might could pull another keeper or 2, and surely I have missed other targets also.
Most targets are within 6" of surface, so I don't think depth is that important, but may have missed some deep targets.
I'm leaning toward my Troy X-3 for it's good seperation and depth but also like swinging a Tesoro for a more pleasurable tonal experience.
My choices are
Tesoro Sidewinder
Silver Sabre II
Deleon
Cutlass II Umax
Cutlass II (Older Version)
These all have stock 8" donut coils mounted excepth the old Cutlass II has the 7" concentric
I also have the troy super 7" coil that works on any of the above
Now to decide which one to take to.
I'm leaning towards the Sidewinder which I just got or the SSII with super 7" coil for working in the iron.
It's a beep dig place.
