Whites 5000 GEB Sensitivity Pod Setting

Hi , :cool: I have a Whites 5000 GEB that only gets about 4 inches on any and all items. There are two black square boxes just above the battery box as you are looking inside from the back. Is the sensitivity screw the one on the left or the one on the right? What do I need to know before I attempt this. Any help is appreciated. RDF:detecting:
