General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Whites 6000d series2 belongs to my Dad. he detected over a quart jar of silver coins at Frontier Park in Cheyenne Wyoming back in the early 1980s He would still hunt if he hadn't lost his hearing. the detector is very clean and well taken care . 165.00 shipped in US thanks for looking jax in Arkansas aka crossotter

Wait A Minute!
I have a deaf Daughter inlaw and they make all sorts of things for the deaf!
Instead of the phone ringing, a light blinks!
The alarm has a little thing that vibrates that goes under your pellow!
basically if something sends a signal to a speaker it can be converted to a light or a device that vibrates, or other.

It's really sad that he lost his hearing, but with a little help he could just make it a challenge to overcome. If he REALLY likes metal detecting with some help and encouragement he can still do it.
I guess I'm saying before you sell the detector give some thought to what I said okay? It might take some research! I know they are a LOT of deaf people forums, check in on some and see if you can find someone deaf that metal detects! I know that it would be different but they say we're never to old to learn!

funny you should mention that...i ran into an old timer on va beach back in june...he told me of a deaf guy years ago ,i think his name was walt...anyway this guy had someone rig his detector to vibrate some how when it hit a target.....anybody who knew this guy said he always had better finds than those who are not hearing impared,... just food for thought........thats a nice machine at a decent price...oldy but a goodie....
