Whites coil markings?

I have a question for Monte & the other coil guru's out there.

I'm looking for a Bigfoot Coil for my ProXL and I have found a source of what are described as Bigfoot coils for the older whites detectors with the 8" coil's that are marked "A". The source says I may need the coil marked "B". Both types are described as being 6.59khz coils.

So what are the differences between the "A" & "B" coils on a 6.59khz whites? And more importantly, will a "A" Bigfoot work on my ProXL (since the Bigfoots are not currently being produced and are very scarce).
