Whites Dual Field Surf PI question?

Could someone please tell me if the new Dual Field Surf PI is any better than the last model Surf PI at finding gold chains or telling the diff between metals?
Any info would be appreciated.

Dual field give off a rounded semi field, this makes for better target response in the fringe area's of the field, standard mono is V_shaped field, requires more overlapping for fringe area targets not to be missed. The Whites TDI have a similar coil design, not shore if its dual field thou, someone here should know.
The new dual field whites surf Pi can be used at a faster sweep than other Pi's.. better control features than the last model, still good depth and better sensitivity. Still a all metal Pi , Id like to see the whites TDI be transformed into a underwater Pi. That would be better, best, best est.
