Whites Metal Detector Stand

stouto

New member
Has anyone used the White's metal detector stand to keep the MXT control box off of the ground and how do you like it? Thanks.
Jess

Hi Jess,

I have one of the stands on my MXT. It is not a lot of lift, but it helps in wet lawns and gravel.

I just bought another detector and spent the $5 for a stand. I think it is worth the extra protection.

If you go to this web site, there is a very good detector stand that will fit the MXT. I have one and love it. HH

I've been wanting one since the grass here has become permanently wet. I'll be ordering mine from Whites, $4.95.

I would not, and simply cannot use a Whites detector without the stand. The key point that needs to be made though is WHERE you place the stand on the control box.

Do not place the stand on the rear two screws at the back of the control box, and near the battery compartment. Place the stand near the two toggle switches at the front of the control box on the MXT.

By placing the stand in the front you get much better LIFT off the gound. (applies to all the Whites models I have used)
