I had a MXT Tracker before upgrading to the MX Sport. Very nice detector. More stable than my MX5, very close in depth. The all metal mode and mixed mode both work very well. If you can pick up a used one for 3 or 400 it will do you well. Not sure if coils will interchange but you can check with Whites.
