General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

White's MXT for sale

White's MXT for sale. New-style 950 coil, coil cover, and manual. I don't have original box :(

The machine is nearly-new and has never been abused, knocked around, or left out in the rain. It also was never used without a coil cover.

I got it new last year and only used it 3 or 4 times. I'm selling it because I've been spoiled by using Explorers since 2002 and just can't get my head wrapped around running a single-tone machine. I've tried using it and every time it goes back it the truck and out comes the Explorer again!

I'm asking $500.00 by PayPal or USPS Money Order

I'll take care of the shipping by UPS, as long as you're in the Continental US (lower 4:geek:

HI Sgt, just wondering what the 950 coil is used for promarily? Also, am wondering what the difference between a MXT and MXT 300? Any ideas?

At the top above there is a selection for you to select "Members private Messages". Just click on that and it will take you to your PM area.
 
Hi Dennis, is that right underneath the Find'S Treasure Forum Name up above? I actually don;t see any option for checking pm's
 
Its right under and to the right of the title where it says the name of this forum. there are three selections there

As here : (LOGOUT) Control Center Members Only Messaging


Members only messaging is the one you want. And its there on the main page of each forum.
 
I looked, I have my name, logout and Control Center. No Members only messaging sadly

Sorry, I didnt look at your ID. Shows you are a pretty new member. Dont think you can PM until you either reach 25 posts or have been a member for whatever length of time the moderators have determined. So best you can do is reply to him here. Someone else is interested but you have expressed interest already so it will be up to the guy who is selling it. But 500 is a good price for it. So if you can, jump on it. But looks like it will be a tossup between you and the other guy who just posted. But you had the first post so he should consider that I think. But it is up to the seller. Good luck.

The only difference between an MXt and an MXT 300 is that the MXT has the 950 Coil (9.5") while the MXT 300 has a 12" coil and the control box has a satin black paint job. Internally they are the same machine. The same thing goes for the DFX vs. DFX 300
 
Thanks for the response Sgt. I also noticed that the MXT 300 is 100 bucks more.
 
yup the price is becasue of the bigger coil. If you can find that coil secondhand and put it on an MXT then presto! You have an MXT 300
 
Thats for the info. Funny how prices work. have you done much nugget hunting with the MXT? If so, how small of gold have you picked up and how does it deal with hot rocks?
