White's service

Could anyone tell me if White's will accept an IDX-PRO for service that has been modified my Mr.Bill? My detector is falsing by taping on the bottom of control box.

They will accept any detector for service with their name on it.
You'll need to write a note to go with it that explains what the problem is, and that it is modified and you don't want to lose that modification.
They are pretty smart folks there, they'll be able to find the short to ground and repair it without removing your mod.
