Whites Super 12 coil

Is Whites Super 12 coil compatable with the V3i. It was purchased about 2008 and used with the DFX.

Check on the mounting tab of the coil. The number will start with a V. Do the test for a good coil. If it passes the RX15 you are good to go

I lost my old notes, but there where a few 12" v rated coils that started with SS if I remember.
 
This one starts with SS. I will do the test. Didnt know if an improper coil would harm the control box. Thank you
 
SS for the 12" only was V rated, it should do rx15 with boost off
