General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

White's V3i for sale

I am selling my Whites V3i with 10"DD coil and wireless headphones. Included in the sale besides what came in the box will be an additional battery, Sunray Dx-1 Probe, Vrated 4x6 and vrated 6x10 coils. Plus a new carry bag. The screen, head phones and all moving parts are in perfect order. This is a real nice unit. I will send detailed pictures if requested. Two months ago I sent it to whites for a check and it is all in perfect working order and up to date.

This detector is in excellent shape with a year left on the warranty. Asking price for all is $1500 and will split shipping.

Just to clarify a few questions. This was purchased from a White's dealer who had upgraded the vision/V3 to the V3i. I was worried that I was not getting the same detector as a V3i, but was assured that it was the same, just with the word vision on the side. So I purchased it in Sept 2010 and it came with a 2 year White's warranty. I was thinking there was something wrong with it after about 10 months trying to figure it out and so sent it in, (as it turns out it was me having problems) and White's went through the unit and the tech called me up while he had it opened up. Said that everything checked out just fine, but since problems can come and go he wanted to make sure the unit was in fine working order so he was going install all new electronics and software under the warranty. Very nice of White's to do. They also sent me a brand new stock DD coil for this unit. So this V3i is basically new and functions normal and has the warranty for one more year.

The unit is $1700 new from white's. Sunray Probe $189, Two v rated coils $300. The new carry bag $50. That is $2239. With one years use on the V3i and all new guts. At $1500 you have a savings of over $739 if purchased new. I set this price because I am motivated to sell. I need a storage container before the snow flies.
 
I missed the 1 year warranty on the Vision. This is a good deal, with the warranty.
 
Half thinking about keeping the V3i. I just ordered a 10x12 SEF coil. If that helps it settle down then I will keep it. FYI.
