I'm hearing rumors about one of our group and an incident in southern Florida.Since I am so far from the source it is hard verify the facts. Here is what is reaching the Northwest.
When this person moved to Florida he took up temporary residence in a posh hotel with a roof top pool. The first day in town he could hardly wait to get to the pool. He slipped on his trunks and robe and headed to the roof.
Upon arrival, the robe was discarded and he raced to the diving board, leapt into the air and came off the board with a loud "Ker-plunnng'. At the top of his arc he remembered that the draw string on his trunks had not been tightened.Upon entering the water he tried to catch the swimsuit with his toes. No luck. The suit sank to the bottom and he was left snorkeling around trying to locate it. After one lap of paddling with his face in the water the embarrassment of no trunks was moved beyond acceptability when the poolsiders broke into a chorus of "Moon over Miami".
I understand he still avoids water.
Sound like anyone we know?
