Who keeps messing with TIME?

Pete in MI

New member
This daylight savings time has not saved me a single ray of sunshine!

Used to be the time would change the last Sunday of October (here in Michigan). My wife has an alarm clock that automatically switches over to the new time.

I woke this morning and looked at my clock...it read 7:00 hers read 6:00 Which is right?

Now I don't know if I need to wake Sherry up or let her sleep an extra hour or if I am going to be late for church. With all the trash they put in my mail box out by the curb they could put something to say Hey change your clock on Sunday or something.

Here is what I found on the internet:

Daylight Saving Time DST started on Sunday, March 11, 2007 at 2:00 AM local standard time
DST ends on Sunday, November 4, 2007 at 2:00 AM local daylight time

November 4th?????? I know I don;t keep abreast of the trash news but when did this change? Why?

So they can get another week of daylight saved? I guess maybe I need to make an account somewhere...maybe the Sunshibe Bank of Florida or something.

Now we have to manually set that alarm clock back since the time hasn't changed yet and set it to the right time when it does....I thought at the TIME we bought this that it was a great thing but if I have to manually change it TWICE each time it is less user friendly than the other ones that never change.

Have a great day and hope you aren't late or is it early? for church today.

till next weekend! :)
