Who would buy after market coil for F2?

Well actually I might buy one for back up detector. Original coil is shot. Or I could buy the cheaper Fisher coil. Thanks

Well, I think of total cost. A new aftermarket coil for what sounds like a well used F2 is getting up there in cost of a newer model of
a F2 counter part replacement package.
So, for me if I had an F2 that I liked and I wanted to keep it around for a backup and was only concerned about the coil, I would consider
watching the classifieds for a good used low cost coil.

That's my two cents worth!
