I was hunting a beach area where I've found a lot of jewelry recently and suddenly bam...my cool swings over a bucket lister coin that was sitting on the surface....an 1853P Half Dime! I just wasn't expecting any old coin finds for the hunt so it really floored me when I bent down and saw what it was. I also found a men's tungsten ring and a corroded 1903 Indian Head penny in the same hunt.
Also...The half dime has an off center strike. Any idea what this minting error could mean for the value of the coin. It appears to be somewhere around fine condition
