General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Why are my for sale post being deleted?

I have had two for sale posts deleted today and I want to know why. I have been a member for 90 days and I have 30 posts, so what's the deal? It would be nice to be notified as to what protocol I have not followed.

Have you listed more than one detector in the last 90 days? Or did you possibly link it to an Ebay listing?
 

At the top of the page. Nothing personal. Protecting buyers from guys that are not on the up & up. It says you registered 2 months ago. (60) days. The Winter just started. Stick around and chat with us. Your sale can wait a few weeks can't it?
 
No links and this is my 1st item posted for sale here. I mentioned the fact that I have a perfect 10 year Ebay seller rating but no link. I hope that this forum is not so restrictive that a person can't mention a source for references as a dependable and honest seller.
 
I registered 90 days ago. The way that I count would make it three months. The requirements for posting is 90 days BTW. Yes I could wait to sell my V3i but I decided to sell before Christmas. I could get more on Ebay but because of all the help that members here have given me, I thought that I would list it here first.
 
PM the mod and see how many more days you need to wait.

:yikes:he mentioned feebay word a couple of times oh oh my I'm shocked how could he be so careless!!!!!! A BIG BIG LOL we all had to go through the rite of passage
 
Not sure who has such a big problem with you listing your machine but I know for a fact that you qualify as far as the 90 day rule is concerned.I did not delete it and do not know who did,Ray.
