This thought just came to my mind. WHY!!?? You see people with their noses to the window instead of the road as hey are driving or they are asking you questions. I think if someone had the vid cam and a decent outline for a format he could make a good film that would really interest people or at least help people to see the allure of it all or the deeper beauty of it. I mean to them we look like some nut swinging a pole looking for gold.
Put in these concepts and you'd have a winner:
1) Why do you MD?
2) How did you get started?
3) What finds you have made.
4) The thrill of the hunt.
throw in some colorful MD'ers and some good finds with good production and you would have a winner!
I know some of you guys out there luv throwing your hunting vids out there so why not make a documentary about it?? I would do it but I do not have a video cam. C'mon, get off your azz and do it!! What an ultimate way to display a find then the very love of the sport itself!
